On Saturday I was watching a toddler on the beach who was wearing shorts that reached his ankles, a long tee shirt, and an enormous straw hat. His "toddling" walk made him look like a cartoon character.

Maria, actually there was lots of depth but little colour in these, since the shadows were so dark and the sunlight so bright - that's what inspired me to post them in black and white. Even in black and white, though, trees always conjure the feeling of green, don't they?
