  Snug and smug

These raw mornings when I turn out and go to work, the cat eats a leisurely breakfast, cleans her whiskers and goes back to bed. I know she's well past retirement age, but really. Grrr.

Tamar and Mary have written so tenderly this week about their cats, and of course I'm just as soft on this wee thing, even at her most annoying...

Comments:
Oh, I have a big smile on my face, knowing that you are greeted by THIS face every morning! How delightful.

Yes. Ours are amazingly proficient in the art of serial naps. Oh, and getting me up in the morning by spilling something off the drawing table if I'm showing signs of ignoring being walked on and kneaded...

Always was a cat person, all my life. Until we got a dog. She is the sweetest, funniest, cuddliest dog, and always get my morning hugs... she's nearly pure happiness... then letting her out, giving her treats, having her help me wake my daughter, where she gets more hugs, and then she starts her daily rounds of serial naps- :)

Oh, how could you get annoyed with that?

Like Brenda, I was always a cat person, until we got our dog. I wouldn't say I'm exactly a dog person now, but I'm head over heels for this one.

My 2 cats look just like her, except they are not "wee"!

Don't they just wind their way around the heartstrings? She's just gorgeous.

She is beautiful!
