  Kind of Chinese-looking

Living very near to a big, Victorian city park, full of huge old trees, is a constant pleasure. I've been there several times a week for 17 years and still look up, look around and see something new.

Comments:
Places like that can be wonderful for renewing the spirit, can't they? When I was at Cambridge, I lived for 2 years just a few minutes walk from the Botanic Gardens. They were a frequent source of delight; I used to escape there to wander or more often just sit and take in the peace.

What a fantastic photo: great composition!

Andy, when were you at Cambridge? about the same time as me, I suppose? I was there 1972-4 and again 1975-6 (after language student's year abroad).

1973 - 1976, at Corpus Christi College, studying Natural Sciences (physics, in my case). So yes, we were indeed contemporaries there. Small world, eh?

wonderful!
